Civil cases: 20 days
Criminal cases: 15 days
Special Investigative cases: Per discretion of the Chief Justice after brief discussion of intention of investigation.
Held Until Trial:
HUT charges are exempt from this. The statute of limitations for a HUT is unlimited.
With regard to a HUT Charge, once the individual is imprisoned, they must have their charges filed on the docket within 72 hours of being sent to prison. A bail hearing will then be arranged to be heard within the 72 hours by the appropriate Judges, where bail will either be granted under certain conditions or denied. After the bail hearing, a court date will be set.
Appeals: Charges may be appealed within 15 days since from when a Judges ruling is published.
