INTRODUCTION
The government for the State of San Andreas, being duly appointed by its Citizens is charged with upholding the Constitution and enforcing the Penal Code. These duties compel the government to comprise itself of qualified individuals who are committed to providing service to the State. For this service, those individuals are granted access to respected offices, information, and equipment to discharge their duties that are essential to the function of the government.
The purpose of this document is to outline the basic expectations of government employees in relation to their ethics and conduct while discharging the duties of their office. While this is a universal code of conduct for ALL employees, there may be additional considerations depending on your branch of service or position which should be outlined in the relevant Standards and Operating Procedures for your department.

It will be your responsibility to seek understanding and clarity on these terms and how they apply to your specific role within the government. If you are unsure as to whether any specific action or incident violates any articles listed here, it is the responsibility of the employee to seek guidance with their direct supervisor. Any employee found to be in violation of this ethical standard may be liable for disciplinary action up to and including termination.
CODE OF CONDUCT
Department of Justice Addition
Employees of the Department of Justice may have their state sign on abilities removed or restricted if they are inactive for a period of thirty (30) or more days without warning or proper notation by their employer. This will not constitute a revocation of a bar certification, and employees may seek reinstatement of their employment upon return to active service.
